Terra Verde was founded in 2010 with a singular belief: that exceptional leather goodsshouldn't come with an exceptional price tag. Our founder, inspired by generations ofItalian leather artisans, set out to create a brand that honoured traditional craftsmanshipwhile cutting out the middlemen that inflate luxury pricing.
Every piece we create begins with intentionally sourced, full-grain leather — selected for its natural character, strength, and potential for a rich, evolving patina. We partner directlywith tanneries in Tuscany, Turkey, and New Zealand to ensure both quality and ethicalsourcing.
Today, Terra Verde is home to over 50 master artisans across three continents, each piecepassing through 12 hands before it reaches yours. We are not fast fashion. We are the quietart of making something that lasts.

Founded in Florence
Terra Verde begins as a small atelier in Florence, Italy — a two-person operation driven by a passion for honest, enduring leather craft and fair pricing.

First workshop
We open our first dedicated workshop and welcome 12 master craftsmen. Production capacity expands, but the same hands-on quality control remains.

Custom design service
Launching our bespoke program — allowing customers to design their own leather pieces from scratch, selecting every detail from leather type to lining fabric.

THE CRAFT
CUTTING
Master cutters lay each pattern by hand, reading the leather's natural grain to minimize waste and maximize strength at every stress point. Zero-waste precision.
STITCHING
Reinforced saddle stitching with waxed linen thread at 8 stitches per inch. Each seam is finished by hand, ensuring strength that endures decades of daily wear.

QUALITY FIRST
Every piece undergoes a 26-point quality inspection. We use only full-grain and top-grain leathers, solid brass hardware, and reinforced saddle stitching built to last decades.
